Masters 2025 Saturday tee times and pairings confirmed as McIlroy chases down Rose | Golf | Sport
Justin Rose and Bryson DeChambeau are set to take centre stage in Saturday’s action at the Masters. Rose, the British golfer, delivered a 1-under round to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard, following his remarkable performance on Thursday at Augusta. American DeChambeau managed to outdo his previous round of 69, placing himself second with a score of 7-under.
Rory McIlroy, after a disappointing end to his round on Thursday, bounced back on Friday with a score of 6 under par, putting him back in the running. He will be paired with Canadian Corey Conners on Saturday.
Shane Lowry, another star from Team Europe Ryder Cup, had a successful round, scoring 4-under. He will be playing alongside Matt McCarty on Saturday.
McCarty, an American player, made history at the Masters by becoming the first person to score 3-over after two holes and still manage a 68, thanks to eight birdies. This was all achieved during his Masters debut.
Elsewhere, Tyrrell Hatton will be partnering with Scottie Scheffler, both of whom had disappointing ends to their rounds. Scheffler finished with a bogey on 18 to score 71, while Hatton dropped shots on 16 and 17, ending with a total of 5-under for the tournament.
