Kate Middleton swears by this affordable beauty buy for glowing skin | Royal | News

Royal fans searching for Kate Middleton’s skincare secrets have been snapping up a facial oil after finding out it is used by the Princess of Wales.

New Zealand beauty brand Trilogy offers a variety of rosehip oils but it’s the Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, £17, that has earned the royal approval. For those who are not familiar with the ingredient, it is rich in antioxidant and Omega 3,6 & 9 – which are considered as a superfood for the skin.

Rosehip oil is also clinically proven to reduce the appearance of scarring, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles while boosting the skin tone and leaving a radiant glow.

The 20ml Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is available to purchase in Holland & Barrett stores as well as online retailer LookFantastic for £19.99, or £17 on Amazon.

US Weekly previously reported that the same facial oil is “the secret to Kate’s flawless complexion during her pregnancy with Princess Charlotte”.

They added: “Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regiment. She loves the effect is has on her skin. [Her mother] Carole [Middleton] is also a fan.”

And shoppers also agree, with more than 1,000 customers giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon. One said: “This oil helped me with my stretch marks, and now I am comfortable to wear bikinis in summer time.”

Another satisfied shopper remarked: “I am 69 years old and have a frown line on my forehead and this product has taken half of the depth away. I now use it instead of my moisturiser and it is lovely under make up.”

But not everyone was happy with their purchase as a few described the scent of rosehip oil as “odd” and “rancid” while another said she struggled to see any improvement after using it for a month.

The Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is not only a royal favourite but also a skincare lover must-have. A Holland & Barrett shop assistant told the Express that the product is often asked for by tourists and shoppers.
